During the shoot, Akki was asked to demonstrate one of his famous kicks and the actor put so much energy into it that he landed on host Manish Paul, who then fell on the floor. The anchor is said to have been hurt in the thigh due to the incident.

When contacted, Manish Paul said that he was hurt, but quickly added that there’s nothing to worry about now. He recounted, “At first, Akshay did the flying kick and then when he demonstrated the ground kick, I was supposed to jump aside.

But I got the timing wrong and ended up getting hit. Akshay was worried about me and he kept asking me if I was okay. I told him I was fine and we continued shooting.’’
