After a successful battle against cancer, actress Manisha Koirala seems ready to face the camera again. According to sources, she might be seen in a new television show as the protagonist.
Says the source, "Of late, Manisha has been going through a lot of scripts and has liked some of them. She was recently approached for a tele-serial. Since she loved its script, everyone's hoping that she accepts the offer."
A source involved with the upcoming show confirmed the reports. "We did approach Manisha for our new TV show which is being written by Zeishan Quadri of 'Gangs of Wasseypur' fame. She has liked our story and now we are waiting for her nod," the source adds.
Back in 2000, the actress had had a brief stint with television when she hosted a reality game.
Sources close to Manisha said that she will soon make an official announcement about the projects that she has taken up.
Manisha's manager said he was not aware of any project having been offered to the actress.
