MiD DAY brings you political forecasts from three astrologers, all of whom predict good times for Rahul

As the Congress prepares to form a government, astrologers are getting busy making predictions.

Manmohan Singh will be the PM, but only temporarily, predicted Reeta Shanker Seth, an astrologer based in Delhi.

She feels Singh will be in power between June this year and May next year. "After that, his chart indicates an unusual event. It could mean he would have to give up his post," she said.u00a0u00a0u00a0

Reeta had earlier predicted a Congress win in the last elections. She had also said that Sonia Gandhi would not be prime minister.

S K Jain, who lives in Bangalore, said, "I feel that Manmohan Singh will complete his term as PM. He is a very lucky man. His date of birth is February 4, 1932. It's the same year S M Krishna was born and Dhirubhai Ambani as well."

He added, "Rahul Gandhi's chart shows possibilities of his becoming PM, but I'm still doing research on it."u00a0u00a0

Priyanka factor

Jain said that Priyanka Gandhi will not come to power directly, but will be in the news along with her husband Robert Vadera.

"Sonia will remain in power, but has to be careful not to make more mistakes," he said.

According to him, Advani is not lucky as his stars don't favour him.u00a0 "But here are other lucky people in the BJP such as like Manohar Joshi and Sushma Swaraj," he said.

Krishnamurthy, another well-known astrologer from Karnataka, said, "After 2011, Manmohan Singh will see tough times. Changes will occur. Rahul will come to power."

He added, "Sonia Gandhi doesn't have foresightedness and lacks maturity. She is doing good due to her party leaders. After Karunanidhi's demise, DMK will be in trouble, which will have a lot of impact on Congress."
