Russian beauty breezes into Rd 4 with crushing victory over Klara
Former champion Maria Sharapova was in dominant form out on Court Two as she crushed unseeded Czech Klara Zakopalova 6-2, 6-3 in the third round on Saturday. Sharapova, who won the title here aged 17 in 2004, will play Chinese 20th seed Peng Shuai in the fourth round, while World No 1 Caroline Wozniacki and four-time champion Serena Williams are possible opponents in the latter stages.

Wozniacki reached the last 16 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Australia's Jarmila Gajdosova. The top seed will face Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova for a place in the quarter-finals. Defending champion Williams beat Russia's Maria Kirilenko 6-3, 6-2 to reach the last 16. She will face France's Marion Bartoli next.

She ordered her father and coach Walter, as well as her mother, from Court 12 after she lost the first set of her third round clash against Italy's Flavia Pennetta. The decision appeared to have the desired effect as she went on to win 5-7, 6-4, 9-7. Meanwhile, unseeded Austrian Tamira Paszek upset the odds as she beat former French Open champion Francesca Schiavone 3-6, 6-4, 11-9.
Soderling stunned
Australian youngsteru00a0 Bernard Tomic produced the biggest upset of the Wimbledon men's singles so far dumping out Swedish fifth seed Robin Soderling 6-1, 6-4, 7-5. Rafael Nadal beat Luxembourg's Gilles Muller 7-6 (8/6), 7-6 (7/5), 6-0. He next faces Juan Martin del Potro. Roger Federer defeated Argentine David Nalbandian 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.
