Washington: Marilyn Burns, who's best known for her role in the original 1974 film 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre', has passed away. She was 65.
The actress' representative confirmed the news to the Hollywood Reporter, saying that a family member found Marilyn Burns dead at her Houston home. The cause of her death had not yet been revealed, and her family had requested for privacy, added the rep.
Marilyn Burns character of Sally Hardesty in Tobe Hooper's horror classic was the only victim to have survived, and the actress even had cameos in the film's two reboots in 1994 and 2013.
