Los Angeles: Actor Mark Wahlberg is all set to star and produce the remake of Israeli thriller drama "Bethlehem".
The 45-year-old "Ted" star has collaborated with Paramount pictures for the production, reported Hollywood.com.
The writers and director for the remake are yet to be decided.
The 2013 Yuval Adler's directed adaption, which shows the complicated relationship between an Israeli Secret Service officer and his teenage Palestinian informant, gained critical acclaim when it was selected as the Israeli entry for the Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards.
The film was also screened at the Venice Film Festival, where it bagged the Fedeora Award for Best Film.
