Soha Ali Khan is in a happy live-in relationship with her beau of four years, Kunal Khemu. With her brother Saif Ali Khan already married, their mother Sharmila Tagore is hoping her daughter ties the knot soon. But Soha, it seems, is not in the mood to listen to her mother anytime soon.

Soha spills the beans that it is in fact Saif, who has warned her not to get married before turning 40. The actress feels a strong commitment in a relationship is more important than the institution of marriage itself. She says, “We have taken a big step together of living-in, which is equivalent to being married. For me, that’s the biggest step.”

About defying her mother’s wishes, Soha says, “She is a mother and she wants her child to settle down. But for me, moving together was the biggest step. Marriage is not on my mind right now. Bhai also advises everyone to get married after turning 40,” says the 34-year-old, who plays a journalist in her upcoming film, War Chhod Na Yaar.
