Mary Immaculate High School (Borivli) beat Bombay Scottish (Mahim) 2-0 to win the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) girls U-14 football title at Azad Maidan yesterday.

Naomi Fernandes opened the scoring for the Borivli outfit in the 15th minute via a solo effort after which Mili Doshi extended the lead scoring off a corner by Ark D’Silva in the 30th minute. In the third place tie, Cathedral & John Connon (Fort) beat Smt RSB Arya Vidya Mandir (Juhu) 4-0.
Muskaan Mehra scored a brace, while Devangi Maheshwari and Shamika Bhandarkar scored a goal each. Meanwhile, in the boys U-14 Division III final, a solitary strike by Om Raut saw St Joseph (Vikhroli) beat RN Podar (Santacruz) 1-0.
