Art lovers have reason to rejoice. Apparao Art Gallery brings young artists to the city with Dhwani, an exhibition of contemporary Indian art, to mark its 25th anniversary
Apparao Gallery spans the globe from Delhi to Chennai, Shanghai to Bangkok, New York to Paris and Monte Carlo. The gallery, which was set up in Chennai in 1984, is bringing young artists to the corridors of the UB City Mall.
Apparao Gallery in Chennai and Delhi stocks works by legends like MF Husain, SH Reza, Ramkumar and Akbar Padamsee. Dhwani will exhibit 21 pieces of young artists.
What: To mark its 25th anniversary year, Apparao Gallery is organising Dhwani, an art exhibition which features works by young Hukumlal Varma, P Suresh Kumar, RB Holle, Sangeeta Reddy, Rahim Mirza, S Kumaresan and Rajesh Patil.
When: May 25 to June 25
Where: The art will be displayed on corridor walls of the UB City mall, 24 Vittal Mallya Road.
