Australian opening batsman Matt Renshaw, who en route a brilliant 68 runs on a dry track on Day 1 of the Pune Test against India, took a toilet break early in the day.

As opening partner David Warner was dismissed by Umesh Yadav, Renshaw too began walking towards the pavillion. Reason being was that the Aussie batsman had a stomach upset.

Here's a look at some other cricketers who had tummy troubles in India.

In 1996, during the match against India in Chennai, Dean Jones, who made a comeback after two years hit a double century. Jones later was dehydrated and began to feel nauseous. He began vomiting on the cricket field and wanted to retire. But he stood his ground and went on to hit a resilient double ton at the price of losing 7 kgs weight in the process.

Graham Gooch

On the eve of the second Test match against India in 1993, England cricketer Graham Gooch went dining along with teamates Mike Gatting and Robin Smith. Gooch apparently fell prey to a prawns dish while Smith was done in by a chicken dish at the Chinese restaurant. Gooch went on to hand over England's captaincy to Alec Stewart. The visitors later lost the match and everyone knew one of the main reasons.

Ewen Chatfield
In 1988, during a Bangalore Test, various New Zealand cricketers fell prey to stomach upsets. Jeremy Coney, a former captain as well as another TV commentator went in as substitute fielders. Ewen Chatfield began his run up for a delivery, but much to the amusement of everyone, ran straight into the dressing room to answer nature's call.
