The Mumbai Cricket Association on Saturday filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court against the stay order granted to Prof Ratnakar Shetty by the City Civil Court on September 7.
MCA had to appeal before September 16 in the High Court. September 17 is the last date of filing nominations for the October 18 MCA elections. Shetty was successful in getting a stay order from the City Civil court on the MCA’s five-year ban imposed on him in June this year.
The ban was imposed for his allegations during the Annual General Meeting in March this year about black marketing of tickets by the association’s office-bearers.u00a0
