The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president yesterday has asked for BCCI nomination forms, it is learnt.

An MCA official said: "Pawar is very keen to contest. We all feel he is the right man to lead the BCCI."

Although N Srinivasan, the BCCI president in exile, is a strong favourite to win if the Supreme Court permits, Pawar is known to enter the fray only when he is confident of victory.
