Los Angeles: Daughter of "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker, Meadow, took forward his legacy by presenting actor Adrian Grenier with the 2016 Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award.
Meadow honoured the 39-year-old "The Devil Wears Prada" actor in the ceremony held at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Saturday.
Grenier was lauded with the award for his work with "The Lonely Whale" organization which aims at bringing people closer to world's oceans through education and awareness, inspiring empathy and action for ocean health and the well being of marine wildlife, reported People.
"It's an honor to receive the Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award. I share Paul's inquisitiveness for the mystery of the ocean and the great potential it holds for new discoveries that will enrich the lives and inspire the curiosities of the next several generations.
"I also share Paul's passion for ocean health and recognize that we have an opportunity to create real and lasting change that will benefit our marine environment and ultimately ourselves," he said.
'The Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award' was started in 2014 to recognize individuals, who use their public stature to advance ocean causes and support philanthropic ventures.
