Michelle Obama has succeeded in her attempt to break the world record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.
She announced in an email that her October bid succeeded in creating a new record with 300,265 people doing jumping jacks, Politico reported.
On October 11, she had led 464 school students to jump continuously for one minute at the lawns in the White House.
Between 3 pm that day and 3 pm on October 12, jumpers all over the world took part and broke the old record of 20,425 people.
The event was organized by National Geographic Kids magazine and was part of Mrs Obama's 'Lets Move' initiative.
