She is the wife of the biggest mover and shaker of the world. No wonder she created quite a buzz when she chose to shake a leg with young school children in Mumbai.
Michelle Obama and her husband US President Barack Obamau00a0 celebrated Diwali with students of Holy Name School in Mumbai on Saturday. A group of students presented the traditional Koli dance to welcome the US first couple.
Mr and Mrs Obama could not resist the beat and joined the children. While it warmed the hearts of their hosts, it catapulted the popularity of Mrs Obama soaring over the Internet. Her husband, however, earned more brickbats than bouquets for his "robot" like moves.
"Obama's koli dance can be described as robot dance or katputli dance ufffd but Michelle was too good," wrote Sanket Mishra on the micro blogging site twitter. A few compared Obama's move with evergreen Bollywood star Dharmendra. "Obama's dance steps were so inspired by Dharmendra's 'main jat yamla pagla diwana'! But on a Marathi tune ufffdLong live garam dharam," wrote Jisbin Matthew on Facebook.u00a0
