New Delhi: Domestic mobile maker Micromax on Saturday finally launched Canvas Selfie that was unveiled in December 2014 but the device is not available in the market as Micromax will soon announce the dates.

The company's handset designed specially keeping selfie enthusiasts in mind is priced at Rs 15,999, it boasts a 13-megapixel front and rear camera with a soft LED flash to enhance picture quality.
The Canvas Selfie gets a faux leather finish on its back panel, while on the front, it features 4.7-inch 720p HD display.
The device is clocked at MediaTek-made 1.7GHz octa core processor that comes clubbed with 2GB worth of RAM. The handset is equipped with 16GB of storage capacity and it can be enhanced upto 32GB with the help of a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Reportedly, the company has blessed the device with its own software tools that complement its dual 13MP cameras. Fueling it's power is 2300mAh battery for long lasting usage.
