New Delhi: Indian consumer electronics giant Micromax today launched another flagship smartphone under the Canvas series, Canvas 5, priced at Rs 11,999.
Canvas 5 will go on sale today across retail stores. At this price point, it is among the few smartphones with 3GB of system memory.
Powered by a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6735 octactore processor, the canvas 5 is paired with 3GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. It has a 5.2-inched IPS display with 1920x1080p Full HD resolution and 423ppi density. In addition to this the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The handset has a 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash. It also has LED flash supporting the 5 megapixel selfie camera.
The display panel of Canvas 5 is a 2.5D curved glass design. To beautify the look, it slopes at the edges, making it look quite similar to iPhones. Providing a connectivity of 2G, 3G, 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0, Canvas 2 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System. Canvas 5 offer its users a battery support of 2900mAh which will be enough to fuel your phone for an entire day.
