MiD DAY Impact: Thane forest department corrects the spots

Soon after MiD DAY spotted pictures of cheetahs on banners for leopard awareness across Aarey Milk Colony in Goregaon East, the Thane Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) has asked the Mumbai Territorial Range of the Thane Forest Department (TFD) to make the corrections at the earliest. No difference?

Assistance Conservator of Forest Sudhir Padwale said, “We are aware about the mistake where the pictures of cheetah have been printed on the leopard awareness banners. The printer who printed the banners has made the error. We will rectify the mistake soon and new banners will be put up shortly.”
