The Midalu 2500 V6 is powered by a 243ps 90-degree V6 engine and the price tag of 1.2 lakh euros (Rs 88.5 lakh) makes it an exclusive collector’s edition motorcycle
Czech Republic-based custom bike manufacturer Midalu has finally launched its first production motorcycle and it is not a common set of two wheels but an exclusive collector’s edition bike. The bike comes with a number of exclusive features and one of them is its massive 90-degree V6 engine, displacing around 2,500cc. The huge motor makes around 243PS of power and delivers 200Nm of torque.

The bike has been built on a trellis frame and gets a heap of carbon fibre on board to keep the weight as low as possible. Moreover, there are lots of machined aluminium parts, including the swingarm, which also keeps it light yet rigid. So, the mammoth-looking motorcycle with that massive powertrain weighs just around 270kg, which is almost equal to a power cruiser like the Yamaha Vmax. Also, the company has introduced the bike as a street bike, but it looks more like a power cruiser. However, the high-end components and the V6 engine puts it into a very special category.
We would have taken the Midalu 2500 V6 in the category of exclusive motorcycles made by the USA-based Confederate Motors but we can't do that because of the price difference. Midalu is taking bookings of its V6-powered bike for 1.2 lakh euros (around INR 88.5 lakh), excluding taxes and duties, and that is approximately half of that of the Confederate's popular X132 Hellcat Combat.
In 2011, Midalu stated its target of producing six units in the first year of production, which further makes it and exclusive piece of art. We can say that the company is not going to launch this motorcycle in all the countries across the globe. However, we believe that one will be able to import the bike after paying all the import duties and taxes.
