Put your dancing shoes on as Mika Singh, Anupama Raag and Urvashi Rautela are set to present their new collaboration, Lal Dupatta, Kurta Chikan Ka, today. Like the name suggests, the song revolves around a girl wearing a red dupatta and chikan work kurta. It has been shot in the scenic locales of Lucknow. Although the lyrics follow the traditional sawaal-jawaab style of qawwali, the track has been given a club-style treatment. The teaser of the video was released on July 4, and has already struck a chord with music lovers.
Mika Singh and Anupama Raag have lent their vocals to the number. After proving her mettle as a playback singer, Raag has now moved on to other aspects of music and presently composes and writes songs for several sought-after banners. She also dabbles in independent videos with singers like Mika, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Javed Bashir and Honey Singh.

Over the years, she has sung for films including Zila Ghaziabad and Gulab Gang. The artiste is currently composing music for Salman Khan Productions and Yash Raj Films, and is also working on an album comprising five melodious tracks written and composed by her. A song that she has rendered in Sudhir Mishra’s Aur Devdas will be unveiled soon.
