Drawing for peace
Popularly known as The Doodleist, Shefali Desai will conduct a Doodle Mandala workshop, this Sunday. The idea behind this session is to use the art form to find inner peace and solace. Desai, known for her obsession with intricacy and details (she creates finger-sized art) will take participants through the art form, step by step. The Bombay Drawing Room will host an Ink Doodle workshop that focuses on fascinating aspects and techniques of doodling using ink, including patterning and conceptualising.
Participants will be encouraged to create ink art using abstract shapes and patterns. They will also be taught how to illustrate and use this skill to make personalised gifts or even take it up as a professional art. Art supplies, food and beverages are all taken care of.
