Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will put on his dancing shoes once again for the upcoming crossover movie Spaghetti 24X7. This time, the actor, who balances arthouse and commercial cinema with equal elan, will have his son Mimoh for company in the film. This is the first time Mimoh and Mithun will appear together in the same film.
Mithun had first revealed his dancing prowess in Dance Dance, but it was the hit Disco Dancer, which firmly established him as one of the best dancers of commercial Hindi cinema. Mithun said he just can't wait to see the reaction among today's new crop of dancers to his dancing skill. "Spaghetti 24X7 will have flashes of me dancing to the tunes set by one of a new generation of musicians and I am keen to see the reaction among today's dancers," the undisputable disco king of the '80s said.

After acting in Phir Kabhi with him, Rimoh is now focusing on direction, the actor said. "For me it is the script and the man behind it that counts. I was really fascinated by Gaurav's script, whom I consider as my younger brother and agreed to do both his films Shukno Lanka and Spaghetti 24/7," Mithun said.
Talking about the spate of new cross-over films in Bengali directed by a host of talented directors, Mithun said, "We have to market Bengali cinema outside the state. Our films are now being released on a national scale and marketed internationally as well." The three-time national award winner said he was ready to act in any film by Mrinal Sen who had launched him in his critically-acclaimed Mrigaya. He is also keen to act with director Buddhadeb Dasgupta again. "For Buddhadebd, I had acted in Tahader Katha and Kalpurush and am keen to be part of his any future project," he added. He went on to bag two more national awards for Tahadar Katha and Swami Vivekananda.
