Artist Jagannath Paul will be part of a live painting demo today, in the effort to take art into non-traditional spaces. His muse? None other than model Reshma Bombaywala.
"The relationship between a painter and his muse is similar to the one between a hairstylist and his client," says Priyanka Bedi, head of communications for Jean-Claude Biguine, India. "Both are about celebrating the beauty of a woman."
At the Colaba outlet of the French salon chain, which opens only tomorrow to the public, you can get a relaxing hair spa in a glass room that secludes you from the chaos of a salon. You can also choose any one of the two spa rooms for a relaxing massage. Walk in till December 18 to have a peep at the painting and get complimentary mini services that include 20-minute manicures, pedicures, face refreshments or hand and foot massages, that will give you a feeler of how the actual services are.
Our recommendation? The Signature Biguine Bio Relaxing massage that's a 90-minute exfoliating and cleansing massage ritual (Rs 3,300). Just the pampering you need to face the year-end blues!
At Jean-Claude Biguine, 3 and 4,
President House, Wodehouse Road, Colaba.
