Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami and his wife were at the receiving end of social media trolls after he posted a certain picture which showed her in a sleevless dress.


The Indian pacer and his wife Hasin Jahan were victims of society's stereotypical beliefs of a muslim woman being dressed in a particular manner.


Shami posted pictures on Facebook along with his wife Hasin Jahan and daughter which showed his wife in a sleevless gown.


 

Trollers began attacking the couple by posting some shameful and insulting comments on his profile on Twitter and Facebook. Mohammed Shami was not a one to take things lying down and hit back at online trolls with some powerful posts tweets.

He said on social media, " These two are my life and my partner and I very well know what to do and what not to. We should introspect and see how good we are as people."

"Very Good Morning. Not everyone get what they desire in life, only the lucky few do get it. Keep being jealous."

He was not alone and found support in another Indian muslim cricketer - Mohammad Kaif. Kaif took to Twitter as well to voice his opinion and put some sense into the minds of the people.
