Mystical Mongolia 11 am to 7 pm Catch spectacular stills of Mongolia’s art and culture by feted photographer Shantanu Das. Titled, Glimpses Of Mongolia, the exhibition hopes to stir interest in the fascinating country that has not been explored by many. One can gaze at the influence of Buddhism and Nomadism in Mongolian paintings, music and literature. From landscapes to unique traditions, the photographs lend key insights into the rich traditions of the country.

Run for Mithi river
6.15 am onwards Grab those running shoes and run the Mithi River Race that is being organised to celebrate World Rivers Day. The river has borne the brunt of sewage as well as chemical and plastic waste. In order to raise funds, Ecofolks have organised 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km-long marathons. The run starts from Sofitel hotel and will culminate there as well.

Have fun with tiles
3 pm onwards Get your kids to try their hands at a fun-yet-challenging tile game called Rummikub. Similar to the card game rummy, it can actually hook kids and adults alike, in no time. One can also participate in the Original Rummikub Competition that is open to all.

A tribute to Begum Akhtar
7.45 pm Kahkashan is a literary theatre project that will pay homage to the Ghazal singing legend Begum Akhtar on her 100th birth anniversary. One can also catch hits of Meer, Momin, Ghalib, Shakeel, Badayuni and many more in the voice of Sraboni Chaudhuri, a noted Thumri singer. The show is being held in association with Caravan Hands and the tickets are available at the art gallery as well.
