Sherlyn Chopra has walked out of Anil Sharma's film for not being paid in advance

Moolah matters for Sherlyn?

Is it all about money? Word is that Sherlyn Chopra has walked out of Anil Sharma’s next film, where she was supposed to perform an item number. Sources say the walkout was over money issues and Sharma is apparently already in the lookout for a replacement.

Insiders say Sherlyn argued she would come for dance rehearsals only if she was paid in advance. And since that didn’t happen, she didn’t turn up.

A source says, “Sherlyn wanted to go ahead in a professional way. She was told it was the film’s lead star Sunny Deol who wanted her in the project, courtesy her glam quotient. She even met choreographer Chinni Prakash and his wife Rekha and gave a verbal nod to the project. However, it was conveyed to the makers that Sherlyn would attend rehearsals only after her fee was paid.”

Sharma however categorically denies any dispute taking place between him and the starlet of ‘I will strip’-fame. He states, “I had never announced who will be doing the item song. I won’t deny that she had come to my office and that she was keen to do the song. I will take a call only after my choreographer is satisfied and gives me a go-ahead.”

Sherlyn says, “I have made no commitment in writing. Hence, I’m not obligated to show up for rehearsals. Those who consider me unprofessional are entitled to their opinion.”u00a0
