Moves off the pitch: The dream team of 'groovy' cricketers

Terence Lewis

Mahendra Singh Dhoni
It would be great to work with someone who is the pride of the nation. I love his work ethic and seeing Dhoni dance would be a treat for his fans. I am sure he will sizzle on the dance floor.

Kapil Dev
I have grown up watching him. Kapil Paaji comes across as a serious person and it would be nice to see him break free and do a jig.

Remo D’Souza

Sachin Tendulkar
I would like to choreograph Sachin because I simply love him. Also, I have never seen him dance. It would be really interesting to see him shake a leg. I would like to give him a pucca desi number.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Again, I have not seen him dancing. Cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh are known to be good with their moves. It will be a pleasant surprise to see a non-dancer like him dance on a proper Bollywood number.

Ahmed Khan

Chris Gayle
Chris is a natural dancer. He is such a big man but he has so much grace in him. I love his Calypso dance, however I would like to give him a number that does justice to his personality.

Harbhajan Singh
I feel Bhajji has a great sense of comic timing. I would love to give him a total dhamaal number, which will exploit the fun side of his character. He has great energy as well.

Bosco-Caesar

Virat Kohli
I have worked with him in an ad film. He has this certain spark and understanding of rhythm. Plus, he’s the next big thing of Indian cricket. I would love to explore his youthfulness in a dance item.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Wherever he goes, Mahi is the cynosure of all eyes. His actions create awareness and I want to work on that aspect. He’s captain cool and has his own style quotient. We would love to bring in these aspects in a number.u00a0

Uma-Gaiti

Yuvraj Singh
We have seen him dancing at parties and he is a natural dancer. He lets himself go and has a certain rhythm in his body movements. He would be an interesting cricketer to choreograph.

Harbhajan Singh
He’s a natural bhangra dancer. We have also seen him do stunts on the field, which are entertaining to say the least. He’s cool and an interesting choice for a dance choreography.
