A Punekar, Mugdha Godse remembers the good times spent at German Bakery while in college
Mugdha Godse was in shock on hearing about the blasts at German Bakery. Though the actress is now based in Mumbai due to acting commitments, home is Puneu00a0-- where her family lives.
As soon as she heard about the incident on Saturday, she dialled her near and dear ones back home to check on them. And as she saw the images on TV she was horrified.

"Seeing what the place has become, it is unbelievable and sad. My heart goes out to those youngsters who lost their lives and to all the victims and their families, who are affected by the blast."
The Fashion actress has fond memories of the place. "I used to hang out in German Bakery a lot during my college days," says Mugdha. "Even though I studied at MMCC College in Deccan which was far off from German Bakery we used we used to go all the way there to hang out because of its ambience."
She reminisces, "The place had a distinct vibe, there was something unique about it. We used to spend hours over a cuppa."
Mugdha particularly recalls the range of herbal teas on offer. "They had quite the range and every time I would try out a different flavour apart from the cakes and snacks."
The actress last visited the place a year back. "I was in the vicinity for an event and we had all dropped by to have coffee. Even after visiting it after a gap, it still had that vibe!"
Last year, there was the swine flu scare in Pune when she was shooting in Mauritius for her horror flick Help opposite Bobby Deol. The actress was concerned about her folks who were forced to remain indoors due to the flu outbreak.
Says Mugdha, "Things have become so scaryu00a0-- you never know what is going to happen where and when."
As soon as she wraps up her commitments in Mumabi, she plans to visit Pune. "The promos of Help are out this week and there is the dubbing happening."
