Mumbai: A Nalasopara based well-known builder has been shot dead by unidentified men outside his office Wednesday afternoon.
Police said that two sharp shooters shot builder Rajesh Singh from a point blank range and absconded thereafter.

The deceased, owner of Khushbu Developers, also runs a Trilokchand gas agency in Nalasopara. Police are trying to recover the CCTV footages from the area.
According to Nalasopara police, the shooters had kept a watch on Singh since 10 am. They had attempted to kill him at 10.30 am when he reached his office located at Sainath Nagar in Nalasopara, this morning but failed.
However, on the second occasion when Singh emerged out of his office at around 12 pm, the shooters opened a random fire on him. One of the bullets hit Singh at his forehead and he was declared dead on the spot.
"Singh was taken to a nearby hospital but he was declared dead. We detained five people and are interrogating many others but no arrest have been made so far. We are trying to recover the CCTV footages from the area," a police officer said.
