In the month of January, the 21-year-old victim called Pagare and requested him to arrange for some money, as she wanted to fund her coaching classes.

“In the garb of giving her the money, Pagare kept meeting the victim until he finally told her that the money will be arranged and met  her on April 8 at Churchgate.”

The cops allege that Pagare claimed that the victim would immediately get her cheque once the paper work is complete. On meeting her at Churchgate, the accused said that they would need to spend some time in the vicinity as the  official who is getting the concerned documents is running late.

Realising that they have ample time, the two decided to go for a movie at a theatre in Nariman Point.

Reportedly, during the movie, Pagare started touching the victim inappropriately which angered her and she went home.

Speaking to sunday mid-day, Additional Commissioner of Police Krishna Prakash (south region) said, “The survivor discussed the entire episode with her father after which they registered a complaint with the nearby Samta Nagar police station.”
