Irate vada pav seller abducts, rapes wife’s ex-boyfriend in alley after she tells him that he has been harassing her with lewd text messages, laced with racy details of their sexual escapades
Just a week ago, Ramesh (name changed) was hoping to get a little action by harassing his former girlfriend Soniya (name changed) with text messages laced with racy details of their sexual escapades. But he remained unknown to the fact that Soniya had shown the messages to her husband Sameer (name changed) and he wasn’t one to take this lying down. So, he decided to give Ramesh a taste of his own desires.

With the help of a friend, Sameer abducted Ramesh and pinned him down to sexually assault in the same ‘positions’ that he had detailed in lewd messages to Soniya. The LT Marg police have arrested the husband and are looking for others involved.

Sameer is a 25-year-old vada pav seller, who lives in Girgaum. He married Soniya around six months ago. Sameer knew that Soniya and Ramesh, who also lives in the same locality, were previously in a relationship.
“Three of them were in the same group of friends. Sameer knew that Soniya and Ramesh were in a relationship for a couple of years, and they broke up some months ago. After that, Sameer proposed to Soniya for marriage and she agreed,” said an officer.
The sexts begin...
“But after Sameer and Soniya got married, Ramesh started calling and messaging Soniya. He would ask for sexual favours, reminding her of the ‘fun’ they had together. Soniya asked Ramesh to stop it right away, but he didn’t,” the officer added.
After a month, Soniya told Sameer about the harassment she was going through. She showed him all the text and WhatsApp messages sent by Ramesh.
Sameer was livid and decided to teach Ramesh a lesson. But, he decided to do it quietly. With each passing day, messages from Ramesh turned into sexts.
Time to teach a lesson
“He started reminding Soniya about their sexual encounters, down to the details of their sexual positions. Sameer lost his temper and told some of his friends that he has to teach a lesson to Ramesh,” said the officer.

But he gave no details about what he was going to do. On November 13, Sameer called Ramesh for drinks. Later, he took him to a secluded place in South Mumbai and started beating him up.
‘Isn’t this what you wanted?’
Another officer said, “While he was thrashing Ramesh, he told him why he was doing so. Then, he asked Ramesh to take off his clothes. Sameer then forced himself on Ramesh, yelling, ‘isn’t this what you want to do with my wife?
Now enjoy.” Sameer allowed Ramesh to leave after a couple of hours and warned him to stop communicating with Soniya.
Husband in jail
On November 15, Ramesh registered an FIR against Sameer and his friends at the LT Marg police station under Section 377 (Unnatural sex), 363 (Kidnapping), 342 (wrongful confinement), 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt) 506 (2) (Criminal intimidation) and 34 (Common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant section of the Bombay Police Act. “We arrested Sameer from his home on the night of November 15 and produced him in court. Court has remanded him in police custody till November 19. Search for his friends is on,” said an officer.
