A 70-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 7-year-old school girl in Malad. According to a report by Times of India, the accused molested the girl on the terrace of the building she stays with her family.

According to police sources, the man named Siddhanand Chaurasia, has been a Mumbai resident for over 35 years and does not have a criminal record.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, after which Chaurasia, a paan shop vendor, was arrested, following a complaint by the girl's parents.
Chaurasia will be in police custody till October 14, according to police sources.
