Costly treatment
As per her complaint, "I went to the spa at 5 pm. The staff asked me to remove the diamond necklace I was wearing then. But, after the treatment, I found that it was missing. I asked the staff present in the spa to search for it and informed the security personnel as well."
So far, even after checking the CCTV footage and making inquiries for two days, the hotel's security has not managed to get any clue. DCP (zone III) Pravin Padwal confirmed the incident but refused to comment on it.
A case under section 380 (theft) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against an unknown person. The police have demanded footage from the CCTVs installed in the hotel and the spa. Officers are likely to question the spa employees and the security personnel.
