Style divas in a New York state of mind
An awards night seemed like the perfect reason for different celebrities to go on a mid-year vacation to New York.

All that flaunting of shopping hauls and bespoke dinners on their social media feeds gave us a good dose of FOMO. What we really loved, though, was the chic summery wardrobe (maxi dresses, crop tops, sunnies, et al) on display.

Flaunting their shoulders were Malaika Arora and Huma Qureshi, both, in frilly off-shoulder tops with trumpet sleeves. We are already planning our next vacation wardrobe.

A German adventure
Mumbai-based Sandeep Sreedharan is certainly going places. The self-taught chef, known for his innovative pop-ups under his brand Esca Brahma, was recently part of an event in Germany, where he got to cook alongside Michelin-starred chefs from across Europe.

The event was held at EssZimmer, a two-Michelin star restaurant in Munich. For the event, the Indian chef chose to put up a dish inspired by the Kerala sadhya, as a tribute to his hometown. While at the event, a beaming Sreedharan also made sure to pose with Bobby Bräuer, who helms the kitchen at EssZimmer. He wrote, 'Such a humbling experience to be with the best Michelin chefs from all over Europe'.

A slice of Mumbai in Dubai
From Paul McCartney to Richard Gere, Demi Moore and the royal family of Kuwait, many celebrities have relished Khyber's Tandoori Raan and Paneer Korma. Starting today, guests in Dubai, too, will get to tuck into the rich north Indian fare that the restaurant is known for as the father-son duo, Sudheer and Ishaan Bahl, owners of the Kala Ghoda fine-dine, open its branch at Dukes Dubai, a luxury hotel on the Palm Jumeirah.

Located on the 15th floor, the space, designed by Ayaz Basrai of The Busride Design Studio, offers a panoramic view of Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Marina skyline and features a live cooking and various private dining sections. The extensive menu includes signatures like Tandoori Raan and Makai ki Tikki along with a range of fish, lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes.
