Delhi, Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh posted comfortable wins in the fourth round of the Ranji Trophy Elite Division matches that concluded yesterday.
Mumbai completed the formalities on the final day after reducing Orissa to 163 for 7 while following on the previous night. The home team folded up 226 in the morning to hand Mumbai an innings and 210-run win at the DRIEMS Ground in Cuttack. Spinner Ramesh Powar took six wickets while Zaheer Khan took one to follow it up with his three wickets in the first innings.
Mumbai had the match in their control after making 529 for 8 in the first innings. Orissa were skittled out for 93 in reply. Mumbai are now leaders in Group A with two wins and 16 points.
