Kenisha Gupta of Fazlani L'Academie Globale (Mazagaon) won six gold medals, including three new meet records, to emerge the undisputed under-15 champion in the GMAAA Inter-School/Junior Colleges Swimming championships at Mandpeshwar Civic Federation in Borivli yesterday.

Kenisha created new meet records in 100 m breast stroke (01:21.15 secs), 50m free style (00:28.79 secs) and 100m individual medley (01:12.21 secs), while she won a gold medal in 100m back stroke (01:14.42 secs), 100m butterfly (01:13.80 secs) and 100m free style (01.03.50 secs).

In the boy's under-19, Kiran Mathew of Hiranandani (Powai) won golds in all the six events — 100m free style, 100m back stroke, 100m butterfly, 100m breast stroke and 100m individual medley. However, he could create a new meet record only in 100m free style, clocking 00:57.75 secs, thus eclipsing Hormuz Baliwala's 2010 timing of 00:59.19 secs.
