Deepak Mishra, a casting director, was hoping to sleep easy on the casting couch after asking a model for ‘sexual favours’ if she wanted a role and forcing a kiss on her, but his plan went awry.

The 26-year-old slapped him in the middle of a coffee shop in Oshiwara for molesting her and immediately went to the nearest police station to lodge a complaint against the accused.

According to Oshiwara police sources, the complainant has worked in several TV serials and had small roles in a few low-budget Hindi movies. She was looking for a big break in any upcoming Hindi movie and met Deepak regarding the same. He asked her to meet him at the coffee shop.

Held hand, kissed
In her complaint, she mentioned that Mishra offered her a role but in exchange asked her for a sexual favour for him and the film’s director. When she refused to do it, he allegedly held her hand and kissed her. The model immediately slapped him in front of all the people sitting in the coffee shop and rushed to Oshiwara police station to lodge a complaint against Mishra.

We will investigate the matter from all angles and then arrest him,” an Oshiwara police officer said.
