Pilot Ashish Ranjan informed the CISF about the blue-pink coloured aerial vehicle that he spotted 3.5 km east towards Kurla.

mid-day had reported that the police had issued a circular declaring the city a no-flying zone between October 2 and 31 citing high terror threat perception in the wake of the army’s cross-LoC surgical strikes.

Intelligence inputs received by the police stated that terrorists/anti-social elements might attack the city using remote-controlled drones, micro-light aircraft and paragliders.
