Mumbai's LGBT community holds vigil for Orlando victims
The usually colourful Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community donned shades of white and black at the ‘Vigil for Love’ yesterday at Azad Maidan.
More than 100 community members had gathered with flowers, posters and candles in remembrance of the victims of the Orlando shooting.
There was a board on which members wrote their messages expressing solidarity with the victims of the shooting. The US Consul General Tom Vajda (right) and his daughter also attended the event.
