Mumbai savoured the best menus at Restaurant Week

It was the best news ever, for Mumbai’s foodies. Restaurant Week India, an initiative that celebrated Mumbai’s best culinary experiences went on to please palates across the island city.

This year, Restaurant Week returned as Citibank Restaurant Week India and played host to Mumbai’s foodies from March 19 to March 25. The festivities were also held in Delhi and Bangalore.

What’s cooking?

Participating restaurants offered a three-course prix fixe menu (with an option of vegetarian or non-vegetarian) at Rs 1,000 per person excluding taxes. The menu included dishes chosen from these restaurants’ a la carte menu.

This price was a fraction of what they would normally charge. Reservations were made exclusively online through the Restaurant Week India website (www.restaurantweekindia.com) A nominal reservation fee was introduced to limit cancellations and no shows and reservations were open to all. For Citibank customers, the reservation fee was waived.

Discounts galore

Citibank cardholders enjoy savings on food of up to 20% at more than 400 restaurants in Mumbai all through the year in addition to complimentary combos on Sunday, movie screenings at Fame, INOX & PVR Cinema halls. This was the third dining festival event of the year for Citibank Cardholders.

In addition, to great dining deals and events, cardholders can convert their purchases into EMIs at over 700 establishments across India and at over 90 outlets in Mumbai, cardholders can redeem their reward points, instantly, over the counter. With more than 2,500 privileges on its cards, every day seems like a festival for Citibank cardholders.
