Mumbai Suburban girls put up a terrific show before going down to hosts Kolhapur 19-25, 17-25 in the women’s final of the Maharashtra State Level Volleyball tournament at Kolhapur on Sunday. Mumbai Suburban girls convincingly defeated Nashik 2-0 (25-9, 25-15), Wardha 2-0 (25-18, 25-24) in the quarters, before they turned the tables on a fancied Mumbai City 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-18) in the semi-finals.
