Bhushan Chauhan became the second centurion of the innings after Chirag Pathak's 116 on the opening day. Chauhan scored 157 off 366 balls when the Mumbai bowlers had to toil hard.
In reply, Mumbai were struggling at 19 for 2 with in-form Abhishek Nayar back in the hut for 6 runs.
