Morjim: Nitin Mongia of the Sailing School of India (SSI), Mumbai, managed to hold on to his lead in Enterprises, with two second place finishes and an eighth position at the Wet 'n Wild Sailing Regatta held at the picturesque Pawana Lake yesterday.

Meanwhile, Deelip Kumar of the EME Sailing Association (EMESA), Secunderabad, came out all guns blazing, winning all five races (a first place is called a 'gun' in sailing parlance) in the Laser Standard class, adding to the two races he won on Friday to take a commanding lead.

In 420s, Deep Rekhi and M Vidya of the Royal Madras Yacht Club (RMYC) stayed ahead of their club compatriots Chinna and S Varun, coming first in three races and ceding two. In Laser Radials, Sachin Singha of EMESA split honours with Ramya Sarvanan (CESC) and Israj Ali (EMESA).
