Enjoy an evening of soul-stirring music with renowned musicians at Mazda Hall

The Poona Music Society brings you two days of music and entertainment by renowned musicians. Watch out for stellar performances happening over two days featuring two sets of artistes, who will ensure you have a memorable evening.


The Acies Quartet

Austrian ensemble tours city The Austrian Cultural Forum is presenting the Acies Quartet featuring Benjamin Ziervogel (first violin), Raphael Kasprian (second violin), Manfred Plessl (viola) and Thomas Wiesflecker (cello). Renowned as a brilliant young Austrian ensemble, the band will perform compositions from the Seven Last Words, Mendelssohn's String quartet and Beethoven's String quartet.


Pianist Gergely Boganyi

Piano Tales
The Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre are presenting a piano recital by Gergely Boganyi. At the event, Boganvi will be performing compositions by Chopin, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody, and Mozart-Liszt's Reminiscenes de Don Juan. Bog nyi is one of the youngest-ever pianists to have won the Kossuth Prize, becoming one of the leading pianists of his generation. His technique coupled with his artistic interpretation makes him a performer to watch out for. He was invited to perform as a soloist at the London Philharmonica in 2004.
