'My penis is having a curve like bend'
Clinical sexologist Dr Prakash Kothari and Counseling Psychologist Rachna Kothari answer your sex-related queries
Q. I am 28-years old getting married in 3 months. My problem is that my penis is having a curve like bend towards downward which I am feeling fear of whether it is going to have any problem in my sexual life. In my life till now I never had intercourse with anybody. And I am feeling embarrassed to discuss it with my friends. Can you please tell me why it is so, and any medicine or how I can correct it? Please help me
A. Little curvature of the penis is a normal phenomenon. A little on the left or on the right or little bend upwards or downwards doesn't affect the penetration process. While breaking in through a window, one could be a little to the left or to the right; it makes the least difference in entering. The result is one gets in. However if the curvature is really gross, then this could affect the penetration process and it would require correction by a competent urologist. This could occur because of congenital chordee with hypospasiasis, congenital configuration of the corpora cavernosa (penile tissue) or abnormality of Buck's fascia and very rarely Pyronies disease at this age.
Q. I am 47 years male with high BP. I take ATON25 daily, My BP is normal and no other problem. I also enjoy good sex life, I want a good and long erection. What medicines would you advice me?
A. Please remember if your are already enjoying good sex life, avoid taking unnecessary medication. Please remember that sexual pleasure is not a performance to be gauged. It is a pleasure or more correctly happiness to be shared between 2 individuals. What is important is not how long the erection lasts, but how blissful or beautiful the act is! Regular uninterrupted walk for 40 minutes daily will help increase the circulation in private parts as well as will improve the microcirculation in the brain. It can take care of your physical as well as mental fitness respectively.
