While a lot has been reported about Aamir Khan’s perfectionist ways, it seems Nana Patekar is no less particular either. The latest is that the fiery actor is not only unhappy with the promo of the sequel of Ab Tak Chappan, but is also disappointed with the way it was released.
A well-placed industry source tells us that the actor feels the promo was cut in a hurry. “Nana is of the opinion that a hint of the story should have been given in the trailers. But the return of his character, Sadhu Agashe, is conveyed with supers (text).
Since the time Nana started working on the film, he’s had an idea of how he wanted the promotions to start. But neither has that been incorporated in the trailers, nor have they waited for the next spell to be wrapped up. Because there are some very good scenes in the new scheduled that would have helped build the required curiosity about the sequel,” elaborates our source.
Our informer further reveals that being a straightforward person, Nana’s associates are quick to notice that he’s upset. “No wonder, they’ve been talking to their friends about his unhappiness with the way some things are going on,” sums up our source.
