Actress Nargis Fakhri has apparently charged a crore for an item number in her first South film
Nargis Fakhri has apparently charged a crore for an item number in a South film. Nargis will be shooting the song in three days and she was apparently recommended by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Prabhu Deva for this item number. And now it turns out that Nargis will make her Kollywood debut with this item song.
A source says that the actress has been roped in to appear in an item song in actor Prashanth’s comeback movie. The film, titled Saahasam, has been directed by Arun Raj Varma.
A source close to the film’s unit says, “Nargis is a good dancer, and she is okay with doing just one song as long as it adds value to the film. This is her first project in the South film industry, and she is quite excited about it. In the song, some 50-odd foreign dancers will give company to Prashanth and Nargis. What’s more, Nargis has apparently been paid a crore for this item number.”
Prabhu Deva’s brother, Raju Sundaram, will choreograph the song. Nargis Fakhri and the film’s spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
