Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) Cricket Improvement Committee chief Nari Contractor has decided not to continue as chairman, MiD DAY has learnt. According to sources, the former India skipper, who has decided to step down due to personal reasons, conveyed his decision to the MCA officials yesterday.
Contractor took over the reins as CIC chief in July from former India stumper and managing committee member Chandrakant Pandit. His last meeting was on Monday in which it was decided to appoint former India pacer Abey Kuruvilla as the new chairman of selectors for Mumbai’s senior team. u00a0
