Telly actress Divyanka Tripathi's car met with an accident while she was returning home to Mumbai from Surat, where she was attending a Navratri event.

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star said, "It was past midnight. Suddenly, I felt a heavy jolt and before I could figure what was happening, we found ourselves in a field which was at least six feet below the main road.
The driver dozed off and lost control of the car. Luckily, there wasn't traffic on the stretch else things could have got worse in a collision."
