Apparently, Naseeruddin Shah doesn't want to share screen space with Pankaj Kapur, even though he is part of family
Naseeruddin Shah was recently approached by a director for his upcoming film, but the veteran actor apparently put a rather strange condition. He stated that he would feature in the film only if brother-in-law Pankaj Kapur, who also features in the film, was not part of it. Naseer’s wife Ratna Pathak and Pankaj’s wife Supriya are sisters.

According to the buzz, Naseer and Pankaj had a fall out over a film a long time back. Since then the actors are not too fond of each other and avoid working together.
A source says, “When this filmmaker went to meet Naseer with his interesting script, he told him that he had already signed Pankaj Kapoor. Naseer firmly said that he will do the film for free provided Pankaj is not a part of it.”
Incidentally, Naseer and Pankaj feature in Homi Adajania’s upcoming film Finding Fanny Fernandes which is produced by Saif Ali Khan. The talented duo has done quite a few films in the past together, which includdes Mandi, Khamosh, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Jalwa and Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho.
